Our 2022 - 2023 Teaching & Learning Development Plan

Each year we take time to reflect on how are children have learnt and how we can continue to improve. The impact of successive lockdowns has meant that we have revisited some of the areas we wanted to review. We have spent time ensuring the children are confident and secure in their environment and ready to learn. This year we will be focusing closely on all areas of learning, ensuring that the children who attend Cherry Tree Academy have a broad and balanced curriculum whilst continuing to build on their numeracy and literacy skills.

TARGET 1: To improve the progress and achievement of children in maths in all year groups.

TARGET 2: To improve the quality of writing across all year groups.

TARGET 3: To improve the quality of reading across all year groups taking into consideration the Reading Framework.
